The county social service office will use the Alien Status Verification Index (ASVI) data base as the primary verification source. This database contains information on millions of aliens. The database is housed and maintained by Martin Marietta Data Systems. This automated process is known as primary verification. The "Touch-Tone Access" method will be used as the primary verification method.
