A person who could establish eligibility under more than one category, such as between aged, blind, or disabled categories and family coverage categories,may have eligibility determined under the category the person selects. A person may establish eligibility under only one category except for QMBs and SLMBs, who may also establish eligibility as aged, blind or disabled.
